The first e-charging station is operational at Supfina
Electric vehicles make a significant contribution to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and helps to reduce CO2 emissions. To support this, an e-charging point was installed at Supfina, which can be used in the future for employee, customer and service vehicles.
The project was meticulously planned and implemented by Supfina trainees, which also installed and connected the 120m long 5-core 10mm² cable and a data cable. The e-charging station is designed for 22kW with connection options for two vehicles.
The first charging process was exciting: Are all connections correct? Does the payment system work? Relief then when the first electric car was charged perfectly and signaled 100% fill level.
After several environmental projects at Supfina, including the CO2-neutral heating system and the LED hall lighting and lighting control, this is another step towards climate neutrality at Supfina. The next project is already in sight. Plans are underway for a photovoltaic system on the large hall roofs to generate electricity for the company and, of course, for the new e-charging station.
