EMO 2019: Supfina impresses with R-Cell manufacturing cell
At its 190 m² booth, the internationally positioned machine manufacturer presented its extensive product portfolio in the field of surface processing while adeptly fielding numerous questions about automation, digitized production, and high-precision processing.
The central attraction for visitors at the Supfina’s booth in Hall 11 was this year’s innovation: the Supfina R-Cell. Thanks to fully automatic processing, the modular production cell not only promises an improvement in economic efficiency, but also offers a new dimension of flexibility. Instead of long setup processes and limited workpiece selection, a wide variety of workpieces can be fed and individually machined in the R-Cell. The modular cell also permits changes in the machining process with little effort. Individual components can be flexibly rearranged or simply supplemented with new elements.
In addition to the innovative R-Cell, Supfina demonstrated its expertise in answering questions about the high-precision machining of surfaces. The existing product portfolio of the machine manufacturer, headquartered in the Black Forest, also offers great potential for individualization. From automation options for loading and unloading; to integration into existing production lines; to intelligent networking of production with IoT solutions: Supfina offers a wide range of solutions for smarter and more economical production.
“We see ourselves as a solution provider whose decades of experience can profit customers in all areas of surface processing — from development to production and automation to a comprehensive range of services,” say Supfina managing directors Oliver Hildebrandt and Karl-Heinz Richber.
